Consuelo G. Flores

An LA based artist with an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Antioch University, Consuelo G. Flores has written and lectured on Day of the Dead and her altars/ofrendas have been featured on Good Morning America, ABC News, AP News, Medium and the Los Angeles Times. She has built site-specific altars for the Craft Contemporary Museum, the Irvine Fine Arts Center, Cerritos College, Self-Help Graphics, SPARC and many other prestigious venues. She has given DOD tours for LA Metro, has curated art exhibits and was interviewed for the forthcoming book: Day of the Dead in the USA by Regina Marchi (Rutgers University).
